Don't you think that it's time you got out of your rut and back into your groove? The first thing that you must do must to stop feeling sorry for yourself.
This will not help to get you unstuck.
In fact feeling sorry for yourself only aids to keep you feeling stuck in a rut, and it makes it even harder for you to get out of your rut and into your groove.
Your primary objective is to get out of your rut and back into your groove.
You will not be able to do this if you are wasting your valuable time moaning and complaining that you are stuck in a rut.
The act of complaining will not change your current situation.
You got yourself stuck, and it is up to you to get yourself unstuck too.
As long as you are feeling sorry for yourself you are keeping yourself feeling powerless.
You are giving your personal power away.
It is your most powerful, prized possession, why on earth would you be willing to just give it away? To get yourself unstuck you need to change your thinking from a complaining mindset, to an action taking mindset.
Taking action is the only thing that is guaranteed to smash the self-imposed chains that you used to keep your greatness held hostage.
Yesterday was the deadline for complaints, today is the day for action.
You cannot change the past.
It is completely out of your control, however you do have total control over the actions that you choose to take today.
I would like to share with you some sound advice that I was given several years ago.
I didn't realise the power of this advice till quite some time later, "Forget the past, plan for the future, but live for today.
" Live for today and plan for tomorrow, that is all you can do.
And that is also the very best way to get unstuck from any situation that you find yourself in.
Decide what you want to do with your life, make plans how you are going to achieve it, and start taking immediate action towards it.
The famous writer George Eliot said, "it is never too late to be what you might have been.
" It is only too late if you waste your time complaining about the past that you cannot change.
Forget the past.
Take action today to be what you have always wanted to be.
